Jarlath Hassett of the West Clare Cycling Club was the worthy winner of the Crotty Cup on Sunday 22nd of May in Kilrush. The Ennis man covered the 20k time trial course with an average speed of 39kph to best the other 23 competitors.

Congratulations to Mike Storan who finished a superb 23rd in Ras Mumhan and Damien Roche who was the third best-placed A3 overall. Mighty effort lads.

Jarlath Hassett had his second win of the season in the St Finbarr’s CC – Jim O’Leary and Ken O’Keeffe Races at Whitechurch, Co. Cork last sunday. Jarlath won the A2/A3 race in a two man sprint with Rory Wyley of the Dan Morrissey Carrick Wheelers club.
