PROGRAMME OF EVENTS – CyKILRUSH – AN POST RAS WEEKEND

FRIDAY 20th

6pm OFFICIAL OPENING – with refreshments (non-alcoholic!) VANDELEUR WALLED GARDEN
7pm TRAIL RIDE – from the Walled Garden through the 400 acre woodland. Approx. 30-45 minute duration. KILRUSH WOOD

SATURDAY 21st MAY

10am - FAMILY CYCLE – from the Millennium Park (lower Frances Street). Approx. 5km. –  MILLENNIUM PARK to CAPPA to TOWN
2pm – FAMILY / TEAM CYCLE TREASURE HUNT – teams 2-3. Time – 90min – 2hrs. Course open for 2.30min KILRUSH WOOD – Car Park
5pm - FUN MINI-DUATHLON – for children and parent – child teams. Cycle-Run-Cycle –  THE MARINA

SUNDAY 22nd MAY

10am – DISCOVER WEST CLARE’ LEISURE CYCLE – Eastward to Kildysert – back along the Shannon estuary – 65km –  THE SQUARE
2pm – CROTTY CUP’ 20km TIME TRIAL COMPETITION – Seniors, Vets, Ladies, Juniors (John Ryan Cup), Under-16’s – SIGN-ON at CROTTY’S BAR, The Square – 1pm
5pm –  CHILDREN’S RACES/ACTIVITIES – Just for fun! – THE MARINA

MONDAY 23rd MAY

10am - RIDE THE AN POST RAS STAGE FINISH – cycle the final 7km of Stage 2 around the town THE SQUARE
1-5pm - AN POST RAS STAGE FINISH – Join the excitement with the Race The Ras GAA stars arrival, the An Post Green Team and Clare FM. With lots of give-aways before the Ras arrives – FRANCES STREET

TUESDAY 24th MAY

10am –  AN POST RAS DEPARTS –  a chance to wave the cyclist off as they ride nuetralised out of town  - FRANCES STREET
